Pompei

With more than two million of visitors every year, Pompei is the Italian most visited archeologic site, and the second in the world. His history begans in 79 a.C. with the eruption of the Vesuvio, wich completely buried the ancient city with dust and volcanic ash. And 1700 years later the city returned by the light of the sun.
